November in the Atlantic for CDK Technologies

Since its creation, CDK Technologies has been mastering the implementation of its favourite material: carbon, a high-performance material, which is now prevalent in cutting-edge industries like defence and aeronautics. 2019 is a truly remarkable year in the yard’s history.

Construction of Apivia

At 11:30 hours local time this Monday 5 August, the large doors to the CDK Technologies yard, on the Keroman site in Lorient, Brittany, were opened to reveal the IMOCA APIVIA to the public and journalists for the first time.

In mid-September, Keroman Technologies now has its own oven. A furnace 40 m long, 10 m wide and 7 m high. Five months of work, 800 000 € of investment.

Leaving the CDK Technologies yard: the 60-foot monohull CHARAL

The IMOCA 60 Charal left the yard in Port-La-Forêt, Brittany this Tuesday 21 August 2018. Over the past 12 months, the Charal Sailing Team, partner Charal, naval architects VPLP and the CDK teams have become one behind the doors of CDK Technologies, where they have been working very hard to achieve the perfect osmosis.

The trimaran MACIF exits the KEROMAN Technologies yard

Today, the MACIF trimaran left Keroman Technologies, the yard which created her in 2015, after a seven-month refit designed to further optimise the performance of this reference Ultime multihull.

Already a solo round the world record holder, the trimaran MACIF has been thoroughly optimised by CDK and Keroman Technologies. The scope of intervention by the yard proved to be both dense and highly technical and have all been possible thanks to the close collaboration between CDK’s design office and that of MerConcept. Indeed, since the construction of the trimaran MACIF in 2015 by CDK and Keroman Technologies, the level of confidence and cooperation with the MACIF technical team has been exceptional.
