The first latest generation IMOCA to comply with the 2013 class measurement, SAFRAN 2 was the precursor of a series of foiling monohulls for racing. She was among 6 new boats launched for the Vendée Globe 2016. Her move to the KAIROS racing stables brought about a name change: "Des Voiles et vous!" In January 2018, Yannick Bestaven bought the boat and launched her as Maître CoQ IV. What ensued was one of the finest chapters in the wonderful history between Maître CoQ and Yannick Bestaven, which culminated in victory in the 9th edition of the Vendée Globe. She was sold in December 2021 to Damien Seguin / Groupe Apicil for his second Vendée Globe campaign in 2024
